This certificate is valid for 8 days from the start of the rental agreement. If you (note: a Swiss citizen) use the vehicle abroad for several days first, these days will be deducted from your rental period. Regardless of the 8-day limit, you can use the vehicle for up to 3 days from the date of crossing the border. The day of entry is not included in this calculation. Within the specified period, you must re-export the vehicle or return it to the relevant rental company based in Switzerland. Form 15.25 must be submitted to a staffed border customs office upon export.
