During the summer season, there is also a staffed reception and a kiosk. The campsite is nicely located by a sandy beach with a nice swimming area with, and you will also find a playground, mini golf course, outdoor gym, and padel court. In addition, the campsite is surrounded by beautiful nature, where you have the opportunity to go on hiking or biking tours.
If you’re staying at First Camp City – Stockholm and want to visit the city center, you can easily take the bus, which leaves a few hundred meters from the campsite and go to Skarpnäck. From there, you can continue by metro to enter the central parts of the capital. If you prefer to stand on a simpler pitch, you can instead choose “Ställplats Stockholm”, which is adjacent to the campsite and is open 24 hours a day, all year round.

At Vaxholms Camping, there are places for around 100 motorhomes and caravans, of which all are equipped with electricity. In addition, there are places for tents and newly renovated cabins with a nice location in nature. At the camping area, there is a service house with, among other things, toilets and showers, and you also have access to washing stations.
The campsite is located right next to a lovely natural area where you can walk, and there is also a fine sandy beach that is perfect for sunbathing and swimming. Those who want to get active will find, among other things, opportunities for padel, yoga, stand-up paddle board (SUP), mini golf, and boules. Those who want to make excursions can discover the lovely city of Vaxholm, or get to the capital by boat. In that way, you not only get to experience Stockholm, but also the Stockholm archipelago from the water.
It takes about 20 minutes to walk from Vaxholms Camping to central Vaxholm, where you can book an overnight stay to experience this charming archipelago pearl. You can also continue with the archipelago boat into central Stockholm.
Bredäng Camping is beautifully located by the Sätraskogen nature reserve, just southwest of central Stockholm. Here, you’ll be met by a fine sandy beach with a jumping tower and bathing jetty, and for those who like to bike, it is possible to take the bike all the way into the city center of Stockholm.

Bredäng Camping offers pitched on grass, as well as nice service houses and a restaurant with a serving permit. The campsite is relatively close to Stockholm, while you have access to both a natural area through the Sätraskogen nature reserve, and a swimming beach at Mälarhöjdsbadet. In addition, there is a playground, and nearby, you will find mini golf, disco golf, an outdoor gym, and a swimming pool, as well as large shopping complexes such as IKEA and Heron City.
During summer, a regular steamboat runs from Mälarhöjdsbadet’s jetty to Stockholm City Hall or Drottningholm Palace. You can also easily get to the city center by subway, as the nearest station is approximately 700 meters from the campsite. There is, as previously mentioned, also the option of biking to the city center. It is a distance of approximately 8 kilometers to get to Hornstull on Södermalm in Stockholm and 9.6 kilometers to Slussen in central Stockholm.
Camping prices apply for an overnight stay for a maximum of three adults per crew. Pensioners are given a discount, but not during the high season.

At Swecamp Flottsbro, there are pitches for caravans and motor homes, as well as for tents. You also have the possibility to rent a cabin. There are two service buildings, one at each end of the campsite, where you have access to, among other things, toilets, showers, a family shower, changing rooms, a laundry room, a kitchen, and latrine emptying. In summer, an outdoor kitchen is also available.
Many of those visiting Swecamp Flottsbro do so in order to maximize the opportunities for outdoor life. Here, you’ll find the highest ski slope in the county (not country, as that’s found in Åre in the north, but the highest in Stockholm County). In the summer, you can use the slope, and its surroundings, for mountain bike tours. It is also possible to hike, swim, paddle in a beautiful canal, or try different sports such as beach volleyball, mini golf, and frisbee golf. There is also a restaurant where you can sit down for a bite to eat or a glass of wine. If you want to get into central Stockholm, it is possible to do so by bus and commuter train.
If you visit Swecamp Flottbsro in winter, you can ski on the highest ski slope in Stockholm. Here, there are five runs here, of which the longest is 700 meters long, with a drop height of 103 meters. If you don’t want to bring your own skis or snowboards, you may rent them here.

Ställplats Stockholm is suitable for those who want to stay close to nature with their motorhome and at the same time have the opportunity to get into the city center of Stockholm. At the parking lot, there is a payment station where you check in and pay for your stay on your own. This autonomy is greatly appreciated by some. After you have paid, you will receive a key card that gives access to service at the pitch. Here, there is room for motorhomes whose lengths are at a maximum of 16 meters. If you are traveling with a caravan, you are instead welcome to the campsite First Camp City – Stockholm.
At the pitch, there is access to a service house with toilets and showers, an emptying station, and a garbage disposal, and you can also choose to pay for electricity. In the immediate area, you can bike, hike, and swim, and there are also areas where you can climb. If you want to get into central Stockholm, you will find a bus stop about 250 meters from the parking lot.
The pitches cannot be booked online. You book and pay on arrival in the payment machine at the entrance to the pitch.
Långholmen’s motorhome camping is a central parking space in Stockholm for motorhomes and caravans, open during the summer months. This location can serve as an excellent starting point for a city weekend.

Långholmen’s motorhome camping and the adjacent Tantolunden’s motorhome camping belong to “Husbil Stockholm” (meaning “Motorhome Stockholm”), which offers central pitches in the Swedish capital. Långholmen motorhome camping is located on Långholmen in central Stockholm and is open during the summer months. The campsite has 77 spots for motorhomes and camper vans on hard ground, as well as service in the form of reception, toilets, and showers. Here, you do also have the possibility to fill up fresh water and empty gray and black water.
With Långholmen’s motorhome camping as a starting point, you can walk along Söder Mälarstrand and enjoy the view of Riddarfjärden. You can also easily get to central Stockholm by bicycle or municipal transport. Within close distance, you have access to everything the capital has to offer in the form of attractions, museums, restaurants, and entertainment.
At Långholmen’s motorhome camping, only motorhomes and campervans are welcome, which means that caravans are not allowed. Please also note that a spot must be booked in advance, preferably well in advance as the campsite is very popular.

As noted above, Tantolunden’s motorhome camping belongs, just as Långholmen’s motorhome camping, to “Husbil Stockholm”, which provides central pitches in the Swedish capital. Tantolunden’s motorhome camping is located on Södermalm in central Stockholm and is open all year round. At the campsite, there are 14 places for motorhomes as well as services in the form of toilets and showers. You may also fill fresh water and empty gray and black water.
The campsite, which is located next to the green and lush Tantolunden, is an excellent location for visiting Stockholm, and is within easy cycling distance to visit the city centre. In addition, you have both a subway station and a commuter train station a few hundred meters away. While being in the city, you have access to attractions, museums, restaurants, shopping, events, and other forms of entertainment, and when you are back at the campsite, you can enjoy the peace and greenery.
Just as at Långholmen’s motorhome camping, only motorhomes and campervans are welcome at Tantolunden’s motorhome camping. This means that caravans are not allowed. It’s also important to note that your spot must be booked in advance, and we recommend doing it well in advance since the place is very popular.
You’re free to park your RV or campervan in Stockholm as long as you follow local parking rules and pay any applicable parking fees. Please note that it can be very difficult to find a free space in the city center though, especially if you have a larger vehicle.
There is a lot to see and experience in Stockholm, so please set aside at least one long weekend for your Stockholm visit. You can of course also choose to stay longer. You will not be bored!
