Brusand Camping offers 180 pitches that are accessible all year round. There are also showers, washing machines, and water connections. You have to pay extra fees to use these services, but it can easily be debited via the ServiceCard that you receive when checking in. If you like a lot of luxury, this is the wrong place for you. If, on the other hand, you are looking for a simple, clean place in beautiful nature, then you have come to the right place. The plots have been lovingly landscaped and have a gravel area and a forecourt.
At the campsite, you will find a large playground where the children can let off steam. But in my opinion, the biggest and best playground in Brusand is nature. The beach is beautiful, and the water is crystal clear and bright blue – almost like in the Caribbean. There are hiking trails and dunes along the beach. The campsite operators are also extremely friendly and are happy to help if you have any questions or need tips on what you can do in the area.
The campsite is located about 50 kilometers southwest of Stavanger, a village that impresses with its charm. Here, you can stroll in the harbor, check out the historic houses, visit one of the countless craft shops in Gamle Stavanger, the oldest part of the city, and stroll through the colorful Ovre Holmegate, which the locals call “Fargegata” (“color street”). Also, many cafes and shops are waiting for you. By the way, Stavanger is famous for its street art, so keep your eyes open for these casual shows.

This runs for almost seven kilometers and is up to 212 meters below sea level. When you arrive at Nordkapp Camping, you will find around fifty asphalted pitches with electricity connections for your camper. Water and gray water emptying stations are also available. There are also two guest kitchens with all accessories, two sanitary facilities with showers and toilets, a laundry room, and even a sauna. A stay here is something truly special. Just as special is nature, which is protected in several ways. For example, you are not allowed to pick certain flowers, because it takes years until they grow again this far north. You should also avoid building stone towers or plants along the paths. Nature should remain nature. This is also entirely in the spirit of the Sami family Mattis Somby, who use the island every year as summer pasture for their herd of reindeer. By the way, you can visit the family camp – it’s best to ask at reception for details.
At Nordkapp Camping, you are already very far north, but you may come even further up north. The North Cape itself is Europe’s northernmost point and a great viewing point. At the center, you will also find a lot of exciting information: the super videographer shows the four seasons on the Cape, in the underground tunnel you will find an exhibition about history, and St. John Chapel is the northernmost ecumenical chapel in the world. If you are hungry, the Kompass restaurant will take care of you. By the way, i you have been to the Northern Cape, you are entitled to become a member of the exclusive Royal North Cape Club. You can only purchase a membership in person.

Specialities | Located in beautiful Lofoten |
Norway really has a stunning landscape. And the Lofoten Islands probably top the list of the most beautiful areas in the country. Right in the middle of this fantastic area, you will find Lyngvær Lofoten Bobilcamping. You can choose from around 200 parking spaces set out on terraced meadows. All have flat, graveled pitches so you can park your camper without any problems. Half of them also have a power connection. Sanitary facilities, a laundry room, a communal kitchen, and a lounge complete the simple but good offerings of the site.
There is a playground for the children and canoes, rowing boats, and motor boats can be rented from the campsite’s own jetty. So, nothing stands in the way of a fishing trip between the islands. If you don’t want to make fishing that difficult, you can also try your hand at the facility’s salmon and trout pond. One way or another, you are close to nature here. Long walks are ideal where you can pick berries or mushrooms.
From mid-August you can spot the first northern lights in Lofoten. The peak season is from September to March. When and where the Northern Lights will appear is difficult to predict. The lights arise when electrically charged particles from the sun enter the Earth’s atmosphere. They are also known as Aurora Borealis and one thing is certain: they are one of nature’s most breathtaking spectacles. When the sky shines in green-pink-light blue-yellow and the lights dance their ballet across the sky as if guided by an imaginary hand, it simply takes your breath away.
