Felix's Peugeot Campervan

Simple campervan for two people. The van has passenger car dimensions and fits in standard parking garages and open fields (as long as there's a 2m clearance). The vehicle is a former military vehicle, a 2005 Peugeot Expert in very good condition. I built the conversion myself and hope you like the versatility as much as I do. The van can be: - Moving van/transport vehicle - Bicycle transporter (with/without sleeping accommodations) - Campervan (energy self-sufficient) The base is permanently installed in the vehicle and contains the onboard electronics with a 200Ah LiFePO4 battery, a kitchen with a two-burner stove and gas cylinder, space for leveling blocks, a tarp, a rear tent, a toolbox and tensioning kit box, a cooler (Wemo 28-liter), and various other compartments. Four 60L Rako crates can be stored in the center, and three more in front of the base. For transport, three layers of crates can easily be stacked, providing space for 21 60L crates. There's plenty of leeway regarding weight; the vehicle has a payload of 900 kg. If you want to transport the bed, you'll need to remove two boxes on the floor (and place all other boxes on top of them). Two bike racks can be mounted to the existing mounting points for transporting up to two bicycles. We have two e-bikes that also fit. We often want to take the bikes on vacation, which is possible, but requires a 20-minute conversion between sleeping and driving. Even with bikes, there's still room for four 60-liter Rako boxes for luggage and camping equipment. When camping without bikes, the foot section of the mattress (120 cm) can be folded up and locked to make accessing the front storage boxes easier, or to stow folding chairs and the table for travel. The foot section also secures the bedding against shifting forward. The kitchen is located at the rear of the bus. It can be pulled out, and pans, food, and dishes can be easily accessed from the rear storage boxes. To create a work surface, the foot section of the mattress can be folded up, and the rest of the mattress can be slid forward. If the weather is bad, a rear tent made of truck tarpaulin can be easily attached to the solar panel via the two rear doors. Meals can be eaten under the tarp to the side of the bus, in the shade or dry. The tarp is also attached using a mounting rail. Access to the cooler is convenient through the sliding side window; at night, a mesh screen can be inserted to allow for air circulation. The bus's technology encompasses many features. The leisure battery (200Ah LiFePO4) is primarily charged via the 250W solar panel on the roof, but it can also be charged via the alternator. There is also a somewhat concealed 230V shore power socket at the rear. The starter battery is also charged by the charger, ensuring trouble-free engine starting even after extended periods of inactivity. Three switches allow the following electrical consumers to be turned on and off: dimmable overhead light, adjustable rear fan speed, rear power outlet (one cigarette lighter socket on each side), and a cool box.
