Freya - The Simple and Sustainable Camper Freya by Cheeky Campers is our first prototype. With this camper, we wanted to prove that it's possible to convert a vehicle using almost 100% used and recycled materials without wasting new resources. At the same time, we also wanted to create an affordable and unique camper that's a lot of fun. The vehicle is ideal for two good friends or a couple looking for an adventure. When stationary, it must be connected to an external power source.) - Fresh design by moschahuber Cheeky Campers is us, two young adventurers from Basel. We refurbish used vans and, in collaboration with an integration project, convert them into simple and stylish campervans using reused and upcycled materials. ...`` ``` ````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` `` `` `` `` `` `` `` ``` `` `` ``` `` ``` `` ``` `` ``` ``` ``` `` ``` ``` `` `` We want to appeal to environmentally conscious adventurers who want to have fun without adding more vehicles to the road or introducing new resources into the cycle. - The pick-up and drop-off process is (almost) entirely digital, giving you complete flexibility (from the agreed/booked time) regarding pick-up and drop-off times. - The vehicle is located at Lausenerstrasse 4-8 in 4410 Liestal and is accessible from Basel SBB in 20 minutes by public transport and 15 minutes by car. - Cleaning is carried out by the renters themselves according to our guidelines. For CHF 99, you can book a cleaning service from us separately. If you do not clean the van sufficiently according to our guidelines, and we need to do any additional cleaning, you will be charged accordingly (CHF 100 per hour). - All you need is your own bed linen (140x200 cm), your blanket and pillow (or sleeping bag), and you're good to go. - The car is fully comprehensively insured and includes free roadside assistance throughout Europe. In the event of damage, the maximum deductible is CHF 1500. For glass damage, the deductible is CHF 300. - For an additional CHF 10 per day, you can purchase supplemental insurance, which reduces the maximum deductible to CHF 500 in the event of damage. - For an additional CHF 8 per day, you can rent a parking space on-site (for your own car). - For an additional CHF 6 per day, you can add an electric heater. - Bringing pets incurs an additional fee of CHF 90. A cleaning fee of CHF 99 will also be automatically charged. The van must be returned completely free of any traces of pets (hair and odor). A cleaning fee of CHF 500 will be charged for violations.
