Freya - The Simple and Sustainable Camper Freya by Cheeky Campers is our first prototype. With this camper, we wanted to prove that it's possible to convert a vehicle using almost 100% used and recycled materials without wasting new resources. At the same time, we also wanted to create an affordable and unique camper that's a lot of fun. The vehicle is ideal for two good friends or a couple looking for an adventure. Besides its fair price, Freya offers a comfortable and inviting atmosphere thanks to its real wood elements and felt lining. ...`` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` `` `` `` `` `` `` `` `` `` `` `` `` `` `` `` `` `` `` `` `` `` `` `` `` `` `` `` `` `` `` `` Here are a few facts about the vehicle: - The Caddy Maxi drives as easily as a regular car, but has almost as much space as a van - Cozy 1.40m x 2m bed with a 15cm foam mattress - Modular dining table, weatherproof inside the vehicle - Plenty of storage space - Gas stove and kitchen equipment including enamelware and a Bialetti (coffee maker) - Weather protection at the rear - Chairs and camping table - Additional battery (limited capacity) for charging mobile phones, etc. (The cool box can be charged in the front while driving. When stationary, it must be connected to an external power source.) - Fresh design by moschahuber Cheeky Campers is us, two young adventurers from Basel. We refurbish used vans and, in collaboration with an integration project, convert them into simple and stylish campervans using reused and upcycled materials. ...`` ``` ````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` `` `` `` `` `` `` `` ``` `` `` ``` `` ``` `` ``` `` ``` ``` ``` `` ``` ``` `` `` We want to appeal to environmentally conscious adventurers who want to have fun without putting additional vehicles on the road or introducing new resources into the cycle. - The pick-up and drop-off process is (almost) entirely digital, giving you complete flexibility (from the agreed/booked time) regarding pick-up and drop-off times. - The vehicle is located at Lausenerstrasse 4-8 in 4410 Liestal and is accessible from Basel SBB in 20 minutes by public transport and 15 minutes by car. - All you need is your own bed linen (140x200 cm), your blanket and pillow (or sleeping bag), and you're ready to go. - The car is fully comprehensively insured and includes free breakdown assistance throughout Europe. In the event of damage, the maximum deductible is CHF 1500. The deductible for glass damage is CHF 300. - A parking space (for your private car) can be rented on-site for an additional CHF 10 per day. - Bringing pets incurs an additional fee of CHF 90. The van must be returned completely free of any traces of pets (hair and odor). A cleaning fee of CHF 500 will be charged for violations.
