El Buritto, this fresh van will have you feeling summery even before you hit the road. Whether it's ice cream or Cheeky Monster, it's all there. The van was designed by the Thun-based artist LBRTO. The Cheeky Camper Medium is the perfect camper for your next road trip. It has room for two adults and a toddler. Thanks to its compact design, you can easily find a parking spot almost anywhere. So, there's nothing stopping you from visiting the city, and it still offers plenty of storage space for all your essentials and has the same features as our Large model. Made from 95% recycled materials, it's unique and offers a sustainable alternative to conventional campers. Key Features: - Compact and efficient design - Perfect for couples, friends, or a small family - Easy conversion from a comfortable living area with seating and a table to a spacious bed (1.40 x 2 m) - Small sink with tap, gas stove, and all necessary cooking utensils are located in the built-in kitchen - Camping chairs and table are also suitable for outdoor use - The refrigerator must be connected to the 12V socket in the driver's cab or to mains power at the campsite for operation while driving. It cannot operate independently using the leisure battery. - Three seats with seatbelts for use while driving Cheeky Campers is us, two young adventurers from Basel. We refurbish used vans and, in collaboration with an integration project, convert them into simple and stylish campervans using reused and upcycled materials. We want to appeal to environmentally conscious adventurers who want to have fun without adding more vehicles to the road or introducing new resources into the cycle. Camping shouldn't be expensive, which is why everything is included with us. From unlimited mileage to a Bialetti coffee maker, everything is included. Nice to know: - The pick-up and drop-off process is (almost) entirely digital, giving you complete flexibility (from the agreed/booked time) regarding pick-up and drop-off times. - The vehicle is located at Lausenerstrasse 4-8 in 4410 Liestal and is reachable from Basel SBB in 20 minutes by public transport and 15 minutes by car. - Cleaning is carried out by the renters themselves according to our guidelines. For CHF 99, you can book a cleaning service from us separately. If you do not clean the van sufficiently according to our instructions, and we need to redo it, you will be charged separately based on the time and effort required (CHF 100 per hour). - All you need is your own bed linen (140x200 cm), your blanket and pillow (or sleeping bag), and you're good to go. - The vehicle is fully comprehensively insured and includes free roadside assistance throughout Europe. In the event of damage, the maximum deductible is CHF 1500. For glass damage, the deductible is CHF 300. - For an additional CHF 10 per day, you can purchase supplemental insurance, which reduces the maximum deductible to CHF 500 in the event of damage. - For an additional CHF 8 per day, you can rent a parking space on-site (for your own car). - For an additional CHF 6 per day, you can add an electric heater. Bringing pets incurs an additional charge of CHF 90.-. A cleaning fee of CHF 99.- will also be automatically added. The van must be returned completely free of any traces of pets (hair and odor). Failure to comply will result in a cleaning fee of CHF 500.-.
