This former postal van has been lovingly and comfortably converted into a campervan and has proven itself to be a reliable and comfortable vehicle for over 12 years. The van is well-equipped for two to three people (suitable for a maximum of two adults and one child) who enjoy a relaxed and leisurely journey (recommended maximum speed is 100 km/h) and appreciate the charm of classic, vintage driving. Driving over mountain passes requires a bit of patience ;). I'd be happy to take a short test drive with you in this iconic vehicle. The interior height is 1.80 m. The VW van has a gas installation, a shore power connection, and a second car battery. Whether at a campsite or for several days off-grid (self-sufficient), the VW Busli offers all the comforts of home: gas heater, refrigerator (gas or shore power connection), gas stove, 57-liter fresh water tank with water pump, 80-liter waste water tank, TriGasAlarm (propane, butane, coke), 12-volt sockets/USB ports, 230-volt sockets (shore power connection only), and a sound system (radio, USB, CD). The VW Busli also features ample storage space, a solar shower, a basic camping toilet, and good insulation for cool nights and warm days. All furnishings (tables, chairs, generous kitchen equipment, etc.), kitchen linens, gas, and insurance are included in the rental price. Bed linens can be rented upon request. Based on experience, the handover takes approximately one hour, so you're ready to go on your VW Busli adventure. Elsau (Räterschen train station) is an 8-minute train ride from Winterthur.
