The roof tent offers unparalleled freedom. Quickly mounted on almost any vehicle – mine is a Toyota Avensis – you're ready to travel in no time. A roof tent gives you incredible flexibility, and you can use your own car. No more parking worries. The low roof height allows you to access most underground parking garages. A major advantage over pop-up fabric tents is the incredibly fast setup and takedown time. The tent is up in 30 seconds! Takedown takes no more than a minute. With a hard-shell roof tent, you can even spend the night in a parking lot if necessary. And it's perfectly legal, or at least in a gray area. Because you don't need any more space than the car itself. If you want to rent the tent, you'll need a roof rack mounted on your vehicle. The tent is offered as a two-person tent – the sleeping area measures 120 x 200 cm. Two people should know each other well ;-) If you're taller than 1.90 m (6'3"), it might be a bit cramped for two people. When I'm traveling, I always bring my down duvet – it's incredibly comfortable. Of course, you can also use sleeping bags. I've installed a keder rail on both sides of the rooftop tent, so you can attach a sun awning. This is free and included in the rental. Upon request, I can rent my self-built kitchen box for an additional CHF 30.00 per booking. It includes a pan set, plates, cups, a Bialetti moka pot, a single-burner gas stove, cutlery, and wine glasses. You can also rent a DOMETIC COOLFREEZE CF 26 compressor cool box for CHF 40.00 per booking. I'll throw in a free Eurobox with a lid, filled with a wok, a plastic basin, and two 10-liter water canisters.
