The Snailmobil is our self-built campervan and is perfect for the young at heart. Originally, the Snailmobil was a reliable postal worker. The name says it all. With this vehicle, you always have your home with you. (; Instagram: Snailmobil - https://www.instagram.com/snailmobil/ Our spacious kitchen is not only tempting for cooking on rainy days, but also offers plenty of storage space. It's always equipped with basics like dishes and spices. In addition, it has a built-in 38-liter compressor cool box, which provides excellent cooling performance, especially on warmer days. Since we place great importance on the amenities, we also included air conditioning. You'll love it on hot days. :) (Important! This only works when connected to shore power). The mattress is custom-made, rests on a slatted frame, and is just as comfortable as your own bed at home. (Important! Bed dimensions: 1.75 x 1.40 m). The interior height of our vehicle is 1.84 m. It has two skylights and one side window, all equipped with insect screens and blackout blinds. There is no air conditioning in the driver's compartment. Music can be connected via Bluetooth, but we also always provide a portable speaker. The vehicle has a bike rack that accommodates two bicycles, but requires a bit of DIY skill to install. The trunk offers ample space, even for sports equipment. We always find long car journeys in the Snailmobil quite relaxing, partly because it's an automatic and partly because it accelerates quite well. For those who like to venture off-campsite: If only the refrigerator and lights are used, the power supply lasts approximately 5-6 days.
