Robert's Hobby Caravan

The caravan, a 2018 Hobby 650 KMFe de luxe, is the perfect family caravan. It's designed for six people and is a true space miracle. Theoretically, a seventh bed for a child under 1.20 meters tall could be added. The caravan can be divided into three sections using two folding doors. This would create a children's area with a separate table, seating area, and a bunk bed. A living area with a spacious kitchen and a U-shaped seating area. The third section consists of a double bed, a toilet/shower, and a washbasin. The caravan offers a lovely, homey atmosphere and, thanks to the many warm LED lights, is particularly cozy in the evenings. The heating can be operated with gas or electricity. The refrigerator can be powered by mains electricity (external power source), gas, or, while driving, via the car's 12V socket. This allows you to keep food or drinks chilled while traveling. Each window has its own fly screen and blackout blind. The entrance door also has an integrated fly screen door. Numerous windows throughout the caravan, along with two skylights, ensure plenty of fresh air. Since we are allergy sufferers, we do not want cats or dogs in the caravan. The gas bottle compartment offers storage space for two gas bottles. Because the caravan is equipped with an extra heating system, it can withstand temperatures as low as -40°C in colder regions. What was particularly important to us is the caravan's ample storage space. No space in the caravan is wasted, and because it has been upgraded to a maximum permissible weight of 2200 kg, approximately 550 kg of additional payload can be added. The maximum permissible nose weight is 100 kg. Our caravan is 2.5m wide and 8.35m long (including the drawbar). Therefore, you will need a car with a maximum nose weight of 100kg and a minimum towing capacity of 2000kg when the caravan is not fully loaded. We rent the caravan fully equipped. Included in the price: dishes, plates, cups, pans, pots, cutlery, and a Nespresso machine. For longer trips, we also provide an awning with a groundsheet, a protective canopy (fabric), and a Thule bike rack for two bikes (30kg each) on the drawbar. Since we also use this caravan for our holidays, we've packed some tools, a folding shovel, a vacuum cleaner, and a small folding grill. There's also an outdoor kitchen cabinet and a matching external gas grill suitable for both grilling and cooking. Equipped with a Winterhoff anti-sway coupling, the caravan is very stable while driving. The following items are not included but can be booked separately: 1.)
