Om kjøretøyet
Gode bussforbindelser fra Tromsø, evt. taxi, E8 til Nordkjosbotn. Kan også leveres til Tromsø omegn mot et tillegg kr 2500 nkr. en vei. Dersom levering ønskes er det andre tidspunkter i henhold til annonsen som du/ dere må forholde deg/ dere til, men vi ønsker å være fleksibel så ta kontakt for nærmere avtale. Bilen er registrert for 4 personer. Soveplassene passer best for 3 voksne eller 2 voksne + 2 barn. Det vil være 2 fulle gassflasker i bilen under utlevering. Når bilen leveres tilbake betales forbrukt gass. 500 nkr.pr.åpnet flaske. Bilen blir levert med full dieseltank, denne skal være full ved tilbakelevering. Et sett sengesett med sengetøy per person kan leies av oss, 400 nkr.for 4 sengesett m/tøy.

The caravan itself drove fine, however many issues before, during and after the rental downgraded this experience to 1 star: 1. Upon meeting the owners of caravan, the check-in instructions were given in broken English, and even through WhatsApp, the answers given (which could have easily been translated before being sent) were hard to understand or incomprehensible 2. The key to access through the side door, change the heating gas tank and dump the toilet waste, was old and weak (most likely the copy), and broke under normal usage. Luckily the toilet waste door didn't lock but this resulted in us sleeping the last night with -16°C inside the caravan. 3. The water tank never worked properly since the start and the water for the sink, tap, and shower, which we were told should have lasted us for the whole trip, only lasted for one day. We had to fill the water tank more than 3 times until we gave up on using it completely. As if that wasn't enough of an inconvenience, we were still charged for its reparation, even though we didn't do anything that would damage it. Conveniently though, the owner is also the "mechanic" and can decide the costs for the reparations... 4. On top of all this, we had to almost "chase" the renter to give us back our deposit which was put on hold to check the water tank issue, which was supposed to be cleared out in 48h after the end of the rental. In the end, after trying to contact the renter through different platforms, the deposit only arrived 1 month and a half after the checkout. Conclusion: Even though we went to all the places we wanted to go in Norway and the van drove quite well, we think this caravan was not worth the almost 1000 euros for 5 days of rental that we paid and we would have appreciated some kind of discount or reduction from the side of the owners. We tried to express this to them at the end but this was disregarded. To sum it up, we unfortunately, cannot recommend this provider and think there are many points for improvement.
