The Altea, a comfortable and practical caravan for a light, bright, and lively experience on the road. A modern interior with practical layouts, innovative features, improved lighting and storage space, more comfort and functionality, and a wide range of selectable fittings and trims. The caravan has 220V underfloor heating + gas heating with ventilation. A 220V water heater. 167-liter refrigerator with a freezer compartment on top. All systems are self-sufficient on gas or 220V, automatically switching depending on the power source. Interior and exterior LED lighting. Table, 4 chairs. Bluetooth speakers. Mosquito nets on the windows and front door. Gas valve with crash detector, so the gas supply remains open during travel (fridge and freezer function perfectly while on the road). 220V exterior electrical outlet. Exterior gas outlet. 220V outlet in the storage compartment for charging electric bikes, for example, plus several outlets inside for charging your mobile phone, toaster, or other 220V power needs while camping. Bunk beds + a double bed. The caravan comes standard with two bunk beds for children (a third bed, the lower one, is available as an option) + a double bed for parents. New for 2024: a comfortable, high-quality custom-made mattress has been installed for the double bed, 22cm thick, with a memory foam surface. A battery powers the 12V appliances, providing autonomy during journeys and for stops or overnight stays. The caravan is equipped with a mover, making setup on difficult terrain quick and easy using a remote control. The crockery and cutlery set is provided for 6 people. Options: The caravan is available with optional awnings, side awnings for wind and rain protection plus a front sunshade, a groundsheet, and/or an inflatable awning. Also available as options are TRUMA ceiling-mounted air conditioning and heating (220V), a gas grill, a TV, a Nespresso coffee machine, a front bike rack for 3 bikes, and a rear bike rack for 2 bikes. It is possible to install two electric bikes: one at the front and one at the rear (for balance). The third bunk bed is available upon request (option: attach the bed frame and install the mattress). The caravan can be provided with a partially used gas cylinder for an additional 30.00 CHF per rental. A full gas cylinder can be reserved for an extra 60.00 CHF. Height: 2.80 m, Width: 2.30 m Maximum total weight: 1,700 kg Driving the caravan requires a BE driving license and experience towing this type of vehicle. Your vehicle must also have a towing capacity of at least 1,700 kg. The two bunk beds have a maximum combined weight of 75 kg and are designed primarily for children. The upper bunk has an access ladder and a folding guardrail. A third child's bed (optional) includes a slatted base at floor level, a mattress, and a mattress protector. Pick-up is scheduled from 2:00 PM, and drop-off is before 11:00 AM. These times can be adjusted by selecting the early pick-up and/or late drop-off options. Each option is charged at a half-day rate. The list of options must be submitted at the time of booking or at the latest one month before the start of the rental period, so that we can prepare them. The final availability of the options will be confirmed a few days before the rental, depending on the condition of the accessories/options and/or their maintenance needs.
