Meet Cato – Your Off-Grid Adventure Camper Cato is our cosy Fiat Ducato campervan designed for couples or small families who want the freedom to explore Sweden and Norway at their own pace. With sleeping space for 2 adults and 1 young child, Cato is perfect for nature lovers looking for comfort and independence. I am a furniture designer and carpenter and have built Cato from beautiful wood and natural materials. Why you’ll love Cato: • Comfortable luxurious fixed double bed (160x195cm) in a separate mosquito-free bedroom + an additional removable floating bed for one young child (60x140cm) • Powerful 400 W solar system combined with a 200 Ah LiFePO4 battery, allowing you to stay off-grid for extended periods. Battery is also charging while driving. • Three-way compressor refrigerator with small freezer (12 V / 230 V / propane) keeps your food fresh wherever you are. • Fully equipped spacious kitchen with a large sink, and a 2-way propane stove. Pans, kitchenware, dishes and cutlery included. • Eco-friendly Trobolo dry toilet – no chemicals required. • Outdoor shower for rinsing off after hiking, swimming or a day at the beach. The 100L watertank is good for about 2-3 days without refilling and the 10L water boiler allows even for warm showers and dishwashing. • Cosy mini wood-stove built in for those chilly Scandinavian nights - first batch of wood, a saw and an axe included. • Safety features: Propane gas installation with a sealed gas locker and crash sensor that automatically shuts off the gas supply in the event of an accident. Carbon Monoxide sensor, fire alarm and three-gas sensor. Fire extinguisher and fire-blanket. Bear-lock, picklock protection and external locks all around.
