Ruovdi, Ylva's Campervan

VW Transporter/Multivan is from our experience, the perfect combination of size, accessibility and comfort. We have the higher version that allows you to stand up straight inside the van, which gives it a plus compared to other camper vans. The camper van is made and equipped for two persons; you just need to bring your bags, and we fix the rest (sheets, towels, kitchen utensils, etc.). We can normally fix the check-in and check-out at the airport. The bed is a bit higher than normal, which makes the luggage compartment very big; it's made to fit skis, climbing equipment, bags, etc. It's insulated for the whole year. We made it thinking of the ski season, so we can reassure you will stay warm on your trip through the Arctic. The kitchen and the heating are working on gas; we also have installed an extractor fan and gas alarm. The electric system is with two leisure batteries charged both by the engine and solar panel. This camper van is easy to park and pays the lowest fees when passing tolls and ferries. The van has a device that automatically registers the fees, with a 10% discount. The total of the fees of ferries and tolls will be withdrawn from the deposit (the bill takes two days to get updated; hence, the deposit will be paid back two days after you return the car). The insurance is included in the price, and it has a deductible of 8000 NOK for damage and will be taken off the deposit in such a situation (the amount above 8000 NOK the insurance will cover). The camper van will be handed over with the fuel tank full, water tank full, and dirty water tank emptied; it is expected it will be returned in the same condition. With respect to the gas, you can change the gas bottle in almost any gas station in Norway. If you rent it for more than 3 days, a fee of 250 NOK will be asked to change the tank. If you had to change it yourself the fee will not apply to you. We have lived in Northern Norway for many years, and our hobbies are trekking, snowboarding, climbing, sailing, etc. We have prepped the van to be able to enjoy the nature in the north at its fullest, and we offer you to do same in our camper van Ruovdi.
