The van should be returned in the same condition as it was delivered. This is the main rule. If the van is not returned in the same condition as delivered, the following cleaning fees will apply: Interior Cleaning Fee (1800 NOK): This fee applies if the van's interior is not cleaned. This includes, but is not limited to, spills, stains, pet hair, dirt, or any other debris that requires cleaning. Exterior Cleaning Fee (750 NOK): This fee applies if the van's exterior is not cleaned. This includes, but is not limited to, dirt, mud, grime, dust, or any other substances that require cleaning. Here is a cleaning checklist that helps you to avoid the cleaning fees: Empty all trash cans and remove all garbage from the van. Wipe down all surfaces (counters, tables, stovetop, and all surfaces in the cockpit) with a damp cloth. Wash and clean all used kitchenware. Empty and clean all kitchen cabinets. Empty and wipe down the refrigerator completely. Thoroughly vacuum the floor, seats, beds, all upholstery, all compartments, and inside the cabinets. Check for and remove all personal belongings. Empty all cabinets. Empty the waste water tank at designated emptying stations. Wash the exterior to remove dirt, mud, and grime. Fill the diesel tank completely. By following these detailed cleaning steps, you can avoid any cleaning fees. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Careful Handling: Please handle and drive the vehicle carefully. When driving downhill over a longer period always use engine braking! Using the normal brakes excessively while driving downhill may lead to overheating and loss of breaking ability. Please google engine braking if you are not familiar with how it works. Return Condition: Return the camper van with all attachments (tires, tools, documents, maps, etc.) in the same condition as when you received it, except for normal wear and tear. Any missing or damaged items will incur additional charges. Return Time: Return the van on the specified date and time. If you return the car one hour or more after the lease has expired, a late return fee of a 24-hour rental plus an additional fine of 1,800 NOK will be charged. Unauthorized extensions or failure to return the vehicle may result in repossession at your cost. Fuel Policy: Return the vehicle with a full fuel tank. If not, a refueling charge at 150% of the diesel price will apply. Parking Fines: Pay any parking fines promptly. An administration fee of 300 NOK will be charged for each unpaid fine. Speeding Tickets: An administration fee of 300 NOK will be charged for handling speeding tickets, and your information will be provided to the authorities. Cleaning Fees Interior Cleaning Fee: 1,800 NOK Exterior Cleaning Fee: 750 NOK If the vehicle is not cleaned upon return, these fees will apply. Please see the cleaning section for more details. Additional Charges Mileage Fees: Charges apply if you exceed the mileage limit.
