Klaus's Tabbert Caravan

I'm renting out a special Tabbert 572, a proud 1978 model, on a permanent pitch. It can be rented for longer periods, but the minimum is one month. From 1978 to 2011, the caravan was located on a sheltered pitch by a lake. In 2012, I extensively restored the interior and overhauled the brakes. Both single beds, the shower and toilet cubicle, and the plastic floor were removed. The floor has been newly laid with beveled cork tiles. Two roof hatches were replaced. The bed at the front has been installed with a good quality slatted base, 160cm wide. There are storage boxes underneath the bed, providing ample space. The roof is supported by a beautiful wooden frame in place of the wet cubicle. A white curtain separates the sleeping and living areas. The ceiling has been washed and repainted. All the original cushions in the spacious sofa area have been professionally cleaned. A new 50L water tank has been installed, and the water pump has been replaced. The caravan has a 15-liter hot water boiler. A wastewater trolley is provided outside for drainage. The gas cooktop in the kitchen works perfectly and is equipped with a range hood. The refrigerator with freezer compartment is new. The kitchen is simple but well-equipped. Gas heating: Powerful 6000W Truma heater, warm air is distributed throughout the caravan via ducts. The interior side wall on the door side has been re-wallpapered. The wheel arch has been relined and a wall-mounted table installed above it. The entrance door opening is protected by a fine string curtain. New curtains throughout: red in the living area and green in the sleeping area. The caravan has always been smoke-free. Everything has been meticulously renovated and has been used accordingly. There is a spacious, older, but functional awning that is open at the front. The caravan can be covered with a custom-made tarpaulin (with cutouts for the roof hatches). The PVC tarpaulin extends down to the grab handles at the ends. In the center of the caravan, the roof is removed using height-adjustable iron pipes, ensuring it is completely windproof. The entire drawbar and both wheel sides are covered with custom-made PVC protection. Two interior lights and the refrigerator are powered via the 13-pin connector from the car to the caravan. The caravan is watertight and odor-free. The caravan does not have a toilet/shower, but it offers plenty of space and a pleasant atmosphere. If your needs and circumstances are a good fit, the caravan can be rented for extended periods at a reasonable price. It is suitable for a permanent pitch.
