Josephine's VW Campervan

Momo is a lovingly maintained and customized VW T3 campervan with a classic conversion and many personal touches. We love our van and find it a shame that it sits idle so often; we'd love to share it with the world. Momo has been on the road for over 40 years, and in 2020, a completely new WBX 2.1L gasoline engine with 95 hp was installed. The major upgrade was absolutely worth it; with this power, it has already been 'unofficially' ranked among the top 5 vans by a specialized workshop. This is a water-cooled engine, so you don't have to worry about the daily range. Safety and reliability are our top priorities, which is why we haven't skipped a single repair or service. The special feature of the Carthago model is the pop-up roof, meaning the interior/cooking area can be used while standing. Additionally, the roof tent can be set up like a regular roof tent, allowing you to create a comfortable interior climate while cooking or on warm summer days. This feature also provides the campervan with four sleeping berths, suitable for four adults. Everything you need for camping is included, tested and improved by us on numerous trips. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a spacious refrigerator. Thanks to the powerful auxiliary battery and solar panel, the refrigerator and all other appliances can be operated without any problems. A 220V inverter is also available, allowing you to use a laptop or blender. You can also connect to mains power at the campsite. To ensure you feel comfortable and safe driving with momo, we dedicate ample time to the introduction and handover. This will also teach you all the tips and tricks for everyday camping with the provided equipment.
