We are a family of 4 people (our two kids are 8 years old) and we like camping because we find it is a way to enjoy a simple lifestyle in the middle of the Nature being able to profit from beautiful landscapes and discovering new places. The camper allow us to practice our favorite activities like hiking, cycling or via-ferrata during week-ends and also during the holiday time while having a cosy and very comfortable base camp. We feel at home wherever we go! The camper is a HYMER Gran Canyon based on Fiat Ducato platform with a diesel engine of 160 power horses (model 2020). The length is 6m (7m if you use the bike holder at the back), category 3.5 T and that can be driven with a driving licence category B. As the front seats swivel, you can comfortably relax with several people at the central seating area, eat or simply enjoy your time. The family can gather for cooking, having lunch/diner, chating, playing games or reading. This is really worth, especially during times where it’s not possible to stay outside! The kitchen is compact but very functional: a two-burner gas cooker, a small sink as well as a big fridge (with a freezer compartment). We also provide you all the necessary cutlery and cooking utensils. The bathroom consists of a toilet, a washbasin and a shower. The vehicle offers two, double beds. The first one (1.6*2m) is at the back and is equipped with high-quality disc-spring bed frames and cold foam mattresses provide a good night’s sleep and a great place to relax. The second one is the sleeping roof that can be opened (1.4*2m): there you feel like sleeping in the trees under the stars! Fly screens protect against uninvited guests: all windows, the sliding door and the sleeping pop-off roof are equiped. The heating system, the cooker and the boiler are using Propane gas. The water tank can contain 120 L of fresh water.
