The rental period, pickup location, and return time are specified in the booking confirmation. Unless otherwise agreed, the camper must be picked up and returned at our main location and dropped off at the agreed time. The camper is handed over with a full fuel tank and must be returned with a full tank. Any missing fuel, road tolls, ferry fees, missing equipment, or other outstanding costs will be deducted from the security deposit.
The full rental amount is normally paid at the time of booking, and the security deposit must be received before or at pickup. The deposit is refunded within a few working days after return, provided the camper is returned on time, undamaged, and in acceptable condition. In the event of damage or additional charges, the deposit may be partially or fully withheld pending assessment.
The renter is responsible for the camper and all included equipment throughout the rental period and must return everything in the same condition as at pickup, normal wear and tear excepted. Any damage, defects, or incidents that occur during the rental must be reported to us immediately. In case of theft, burglary, fire, or other insurance-related damage, the renter must also contact the local police without delay. The renter is responsible for any deductible and for damage not covered by insurance, which may exceed the deposit amount.
The renter is obliged to inspect the camper at pickup and report any existing damage, missing items, or cleaning issues in writing before departure. Issues that are not reported at pickup cannot be claimed later. The rental agreement is personal and does not allow subletting or use by unauthorized drivers unless explicitly agreed in advance.
If the camper is returned later than the agreed time, additional rental charges will apply, including a surcharge for delayed return. If the delay causes documented losses for the rental service, the renter may be held liable for these costs. If the camper is not available at the agreed pickup time due to circumstances on our side, the rental price will be adjusted accordingly, and the renter may choose to proceed with or cancel the rental.
Cancellation terms depend on the selected protection package and are specified in the booking confirmation. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in partial or full loss of the rental amount. The rental service is not responsible for delays, holiday interruptions, or indirect losses caused by technical issues or damage occurring after pickup.
